Established in 1994 East Yorkshire Forklifts was formed following the breakdown of the former partnership of Humber Forklifts.

The company was taken over by its head engineer Tony Langdale in 2005 following his previous employers retirement. He expanded the company purchasing two more forklift companies to add to his business portfolio. East Yorkshire Forklifts became Limited in 2011 and is an independent family run Hull based local company covering nationwide.
